Sorry James, if it was a Commer i might have been spot on...........and there's nothing worse than a novice leading everyone astray! The rear end and box were in it when I started with Matt so I'd say you're on the money with the rear end. David Mitchell told me that they were based up the other side of Doyalson. He also said that he bought a tip over axle tipper (so probably for coal) and he imported the budd rims and hubs himself so that the trailer matched the truck. I've been trying to get back in touch with him as he said that he had a lot of photos of the truck from when it was new until he sold it in 1990.
And for what its worth, what's the difference between a K125CR and a K124CR? Love your K121, never got a photo of it.

I don't know who you are or where your from but that piece you just wrote touched my very soul,brought tears to my eyes actually.I went to clarendon,sucked in the atmosphere,spoke with chappo and many others....you nailed it!!!

Ian after reading that i know the vintage truck movement is heading in the right direction, with young blokes like yourself writing that it makes it all worthwhile,i think back to that weekend and again thank everyone for coming and i am looking forward to Haulin the Hume to catch up with all you blokes again Chappo
