Hi all, only 12 sleeps to go. The phone calls have been coming thick and fast. For those coming, the trucks can be left there from Friday lunchtime on.. There will be security Friday and Saturday nights. With many of us sleeping there both nights. Trucks must arrive before 8.30 Saturday morning and stay until 5 pm Saturday night and 3pm Sunday arvo. At this stage, we should have about 100 trucks ranging from 1953 to present day. Will be a fantastic show. See you there.... Chappo

G'day,

Well I'am going to take the 51 "K" Bedford, just got to organise the entry and looking at being there for the Sat spit, and get around to meeting you all. I will make a couple of calls tomorrow, this could make me want to do the Hume run in the Bedford also.

G'Day Snaws,

Thanks for the encouregment, there was few little trucks and I did see yours and a good one too, but I went along as a bystander along the way in my Patrol, and then kicked myself for not taking the little truck, so the plan is to do it with the Bedford in 2013,

See ya.

g'day BIG D .. don't worry too much about Jimmy as he'll be burning the midnight oil furiously screwing kenworth after kenworth back together, for his part of the parade in the ''dads army'' section 8-) 8-) 8-)

Hi all... Does any-one out there know of a good spelling skool for BIG D. LOL....
Sorry I missed our committee (spell check please) meeting on Tuesday night and also a "Classic Truck Resto" episode (there are rumours that next weeks episode may feature a ugly worn S-model and its even more ugly worn owner).
Some good news.... We fired up the 1964 K121 on Tuesday night, but still alot of work to be done to get it ready for the "corral".The first day it arrived here I ripped all the odd ball $h1t off it (square fuel tanks, aircleaner, modern doors, seats, ect) only I never considered that I didn't have any doors to replace them with...but I preferred it with no doors than what was on it. Chappo has been kind enough to "BORROW" me a R/H door and I'm hoping to have a L/H door on it before the big day.
I'm still arguing to have one of each model Kenworth there, but the powers to be are not in favour of modern trucks. Cheers JOTS.
