Geelong Vintage Rally 2013

The Geelong Vintage Rally is on again next year, nice & early, Just in time to get over the New Years hangover. Jan 12th at the Geelong Showgrounds, 79 Breakwater Road, East Geelong.
Start time 9.00 am. Tractors, Trucks, Vintage cars, models & of course the steam engines.

Hi Trevor, I've no idea who or how many are going. I saw it advertised in the Tomm's mag & put it up here. It is actually a 2 day show & in the Monitor it's the 12 & 13 th of Jan. Last year we had Choc's, Gilly, Prodrive, Hayden, Slimline & Kelvin, Atkipete & a few others from up in the big smoke. Not a real large truck turnout but enough to be interesting. The Liberator rebuilding group from Werribee were there also with some good gear including an engine from a Liberator which they ran every so often, bl00dy great sound. Hi Lyn, I have just rung the lady from the Liberator group & she assures me that they will be bringing the engine down again & will be running it probably 3 or 4 times during the day. That's both days of the show. I hope that will get a few more through the gate. Lyn, if I've got it right you've got the Thornycroft, is that right? Cheers Tim.
