Wont know till later in the week if i will attempt to drive down or take it down on the tilt tray, as have got the head off at the moment doing some checking.
Roo V Motorbike sounds like you were even luckier than me.
Was aiming at about an 8.00am arrival at Geelong on Sunday morning

Whats the go if you stay the weekend? Can you camp out overnight? Don't really want to go home Sat night if I don't need to. Is there any convoy from Melb on Sat morning? This will be the ACCO's first "registered" outing!

Geoffb,
Mike would be better one but answers:-
BBQ Saturday night BYO own meat etc (BBQ provided)
Toilets and showers. Yes (tried them out a couple of years ago and were working fine!)
For Battleduck Camping didn't seem to be a problem (when I stayed down there rolled out swag in one of the sheds on site)
Convoy Saturday from Melbourne? Not aware of one (if anyone is let us all know where the meeting point will be). Might be a few going on Sunday Morning however and might even go convoy. But not sure yet of any details.
Very easy going rally worth the effort for a good relaxing weekend!

Dad will be heading down the highway leaving Laverton at about 6.45-7.00am Sunday and meeting me near the corner of Bacchus Marsh Road and Princess Highway Corio at about 7.30-7.45 then head into the showgrounds from their.
So if anyone from Melbourne wants to run down to Geelong with Dad im sure he could meet anyone at the Shell (fleetwings) point cook turn off Laverton.
