Time outs causing long posts to be lost before being posted

Hi,
following up on some comments made about people losing their typing of a post due to a timeout I have had another look at the settings to see if something can be improved.
Overtime I have increased the session timeout limit to 90 minutes but Ii suspect people aren't taking quite that long to type their post so I kept looking and found another setting tonight that is probably overriding the default and is more likely to be a 30 minute time out. I have increased this second setting to 45 minutes now.
From today on if you still manage to lose a post that you have typed in that you are confident that it hasn't taken you more than 45 minutes then please reply to this post.
Terry

Thanks Terry
I have never had a problem with time out, but I do type quickly, the only problem I have had with this new version at first was replying below the red line, but got it sorted, there appears to be a few still struggling with that, so for those that are having trouble with that, scroll down to the red line to reply then hit the red arrow, then hit enter a couple of times to give you a bit of space then go for it. Please correct me if I am wrong on that but it works for me. I find this latest version as good as any previous ones.

I had a post in the forum slowing down thread that vanished, I would have only taken five minutes maximum to type and there was a message about kunena doing something and no more info, I was going over to my shed and didn’t pay much attention to it, but lost the reply

I have my shoulder to the wheel,
my nose to the grindstone,
I've put my best foot forward,
I've put my back into it,
I'm gritting my teeth,
Now I find I can't do any work in this position!

1. I can't find a red line.
2. When I have to sign in again, I AWAYS click on "Remember me" and if the tick does not come up, I click until it does. Sometimes I have to sign in again the same day, sometimes it is not for weeks. It does not worry me either way.
3. Often when I reply, the computer wants me to "Private message" somebody although I have not entered a member's name. It often takes a lot of messing around to let me send a "Message" to everybody.

I think the quoting issue is an Android only glitch. Are you using a PC or Apple? Thanks Terry
