Place photos directly into your post.

eye've bin bungin up pics from my Hardrive on Wotzit for many years 
as well as hot linking pics from other sites
now I can not do
So how do I load pics directly from my HD

nothing I can think of has changed recently that should be stopping you from uploading images.

Are you receiving any messages when you try to upload?

What is the filetype and filesize of the images you are trying to upload?

I clik on image
& under image info it is looking for a URL
and some foreign info is boxed in
if I clik on link it is still looking for URL
i was always able to load directly from my Hard Dive

That hasn't changed, the same process but maybe the buttons look a bit different..

The Link or URL is what is required when you link to a picture or image on another site, what you called hot linking. In this instance the image has to already exist on the Internet somewhere and you are providing a link to say 'get that image and display it here'. Good for the Forum as it saves space by not storing the 'disposable' images like GIFs and not truck related images that we don't mind if they break in years to come.

Uploading from your hard drive is what you are doing when the image doesn't already exists on the Internet somewhere already, therefore you need to upload the image to the Internet, to disk space on this site, and then create the link to that image that appears int your post.  To do that you need to use the Attachments section below where you enter the text of the message and select the '+ Add Files'. This will allow you to upload a maximum of 5 images from your computa hard drive. You then place the cursor in the post text where you want the images to appear and press the 'Insert' button or insert all to provide the link to the image in the text.
