Drafts keep disappearing!

Hi,
Anyone had any problems with drafting a 'new topic', get halfway through it and it completely disappears lost somewhere in the ether?? Happened to me twice in a row and the only thing I can surmise is they were both quite long winded (like the writer!) and I struck some sort of "time-out", maybe you're given only a limited time to get your thoughts onto the keyboard??
So is there some way of writing a draft which automatically gets saved as you go along??

Very frustrating when your jumping from a reference book to keypad and back!
Either that or have to stop smoking that stuff in the shed!

best to open notepad etc .... type u're heart out

Thought it was me, but a bit more common than realised. I'll try what has been suggested and write it in Word or something and when happy, cut and paste.

I think this has more to do with the bloke behind the wheel! Wrote the latest blurb in Word, cut and pasted, went through no trouble!
A little bit of knowledge can be a dangerous thung!

If click on the "back" tab (the arrow that points left at the Top LHS of your screen) that will take you back to the previous screen. Just keep clicking 'til your text re-appears..

Hi,

There is a time out of around 15 minutes I think of inactivity that may apply to people if they do not tick the little box when they login that says 'Remember Me'. If you have to enter your password each time you come the Forum to reply to posts, then this will probably apply to you.
