G'Day Admin,
When a reply has been made the thread has a number in brackets in green and when you open these and read them and go back to the index page the green has gone. Lately after reading the replies on the heading at the top of the index there has been a (1) in green left but I have read all the replies. IS there a glitch in the system at your or my end?
P.S.
I have so been enjoying being a part of this Forum and has been a great help to me with our Lorry and I hope my posts about our tractor has offered some entertainment to the other members.
Cheers Cobba

Cobba,

try clicking on the green 1 and see where it takes you and then check if the 1 in green disappears.

Hi Mate,
I just did as suggested and it will not allow me to click on it as the pointer does not not change to let me open it. I also clicked on the green rectangle in the left hand column and it just opened the thread.

This had happen once before and after about 3-4 weeks it went away by itself. Just thought it strange.

Cobba,

When the green icon drops you into the index of posts for that category, scroll through a few pages and look for Subject with '(n NEW)' next to a post and if you find one, then click on that link to remove the new status.

Sometimes it can be caused by a corrupt cookie and when the system forces you to login again it will reset things which is possibly what you saw previously.

Hi Terry,
Thank you so much for all your tips and help. I will go through the whole section and have a look when we get back from a holiday. IT is not the end of the world just thought you might like to know what goes on at times.
Last time it happened, it fixed itself.
Cheers mate and have fun, thems the rules.
