Hi,
You have inadvertently clicked on the subscribe button which is next tot he Reply button for subjects and set yourself up to receive notifications.
To undo you can go into your Profile and select the Subscription tab and that will display the threads and posts that you have subscribed to received a notification or new or updated entries. For those that you don't want any notifications from check the box on the right and then scroll to the bottom and select the 'Choose Action' dropdown and then select Unsubscribe.
Or if you go to the thread for which you are receiving notifications look for a blue button with the words 'Unsubscribe' on it and press that.
