This came up yesterday, so when I looked at my profile as suggested, it was a completely different person. I tried again later, and everything was ok, my name and all required information was there. Anyone else had this problem?

that's a fair bit above My pay grade (& skill set) Overnite.. Gryphon is the IT guru & He's gone walkabout for a couple of Weeks..
I seem to remember Sarge having similar sorts of Issues.

Went to the site yesterday to find this message waiting. So I did as it said and went to edit my profile to include my name and surname, ( which I knew was already there). So I logged in again and it came up as a completely different person. Can’t work it out. Message has gone today, and I can log in normally.

Hi,

it is the same bug that has been around for a few years now where things get confused and you are logged in as someone else, usually as 'at4 114', so to prevent people typing a post under the wrong name I set it up to ban 'at4 114' from making a post and make people log out an log back in under their real username.

I will see if I can do something a bit different so you don't see the message that you are Banned, make it something a little less scary.

The whole site, including Forum, is due for a major upgrade, a move to a bigger and other changes in the coming months as we are running on unsupported software and running out of space, I just need to fit it all in around the paid stuff. Hopefully this will fix this problem of incorrect sessions/logins.

My phone message when I don't pick up says, "Nice try" much to the annoyance of many acquaintances. Notably they are generally amazed when I DO actually pick up! :lol:
