Unsubscribe from Topics and Categories

Hi,

to stop yourself from receiving unwanted notification emails about new replies or new posts you can go into your Profile, selecting your username, and go to the Subscriptions tab and select the posts/categories you now longer want to receive notification from. 
 

And then go to the bottom of that section and select the 'Choose Action' button where you will be presented with an option to Unsubscribe. Select the Unsubscribe option and click GO what you have selected will be removed from your subscriptions list.
 
The screen captured image can't show the Go button or the Unsubscribe option because they are dynamic, but they will be there when you move your mouse/cursor to that position.

So I go to my profile

find the doohickie that shows subscriptions 

click the box in the middle up the top

it then ticks the rest of the topics or threads

I scroll down, but I'll be buggered if I can find a unsubscribe place to tick

 

clearly I am loosing the plot but be blowed if I  can see this thing to check or tick

It is not just you, it seems that the options are not displayed when you are looking at the page on a phone. On a tablet screen I tested the Go button doesn't appear either so it looks like you need to be on a Desktop or Laptop screen before the options appear and are useful.

In the meantime I have gone into your Subscriptions and removed the topics that were subscribe to in the past couple of weeks and left the earlier one alone.
