GuddayM8
the gutted AC HD16 twaz to B used as a parts machine for a local AC man
The LeT spark steer scraper is gunna B restored it went to Sydney
much effort went into cartn it on the T.T legally
we asked to cart it with lotsa rear overhang ( rear overhang is measured from the center of rear suspension of truck to end of load)
we had to run a pilot car n obtain apermit!!! It aint wide n it aint long but they said the rear swing out on a cnr might take out a set of traffic lights. WTF we got a license for?

LOL

Charles. I will ask a mate of mine, he has a house down at Cooma
and works up here at the steelworks. He lives down the sreet.
and goes home at the end of his roster. He has a UD 8/9 tonner
and usualy takes stuff down to his farm.I know he sometimes gets a backload to pay for the fuel. I wlll try to find him as i donn't have his
number. And as he dose mainly nite shift and i start early it might take a day or two to catch him. It aint a tilt tray, if it rolls you might need to find a loading ramp. I will hunt him out .....Mark

cheers Mark, I'll hang back until you catch him up, my problem is that have no way of finding a loading ramp, I have nothing that will help, and doubt the old lady on the farm will either.

Let me know how you go.

Charles if you get a tilt tray it doesn,t need to be started as they will just winch it on to the truck.

If only it was a bit closer to the Hume i would be able to do it for you on Thursday as i will be coming back from Sydney to Shepparton Empty with my tilt tray.
Then a possible pick up at Shepparton and then home to Melbourne.

Yeah thats good that it doesn't need to be running, might do a daytrip down anyway and try get it running, just to make sure 'tis what she says it is'.

cheers.

Swishy, the egg carton look on the floor is a mild steel floor,as you probobly know,it wasn`t until about 10 years ago everyone started to use bisalloy or Hardox high tensile gear, and back then it was an option.I think I built 2 or 3 big trays with 350 grade (which isn`t that much better than mild steel) fllors, after that it`s been all Hardox or Bisalloy and they look good forever. The tray on your F model must be pretty heavy, our`s go 4.5 t roughly, for the tray. Here`s a couple of 10 X 4`s
