just over 18 months ago finished building the house and did the earthworks with the excavator and truck myself. doing the septic etc

landscaping with the old acco etc

done everything myself pretty much.

This area i used clay from the dam bank over fairly sand soil, probably about 250 ton building up the roundabout .5m high and bringing in loam from down the back paddock for the gardens.

I really enjoyed this bit!

cut and filled house site and brought in good shit from the paddock

made a spoon drain and re did my neighbours driveway that was washed away in floods, but did new culvert too. used recycled bitumen for base, then clay then 200 cubic mtrs of sandstone crushed in with the neighbours d9 then 200 ton of roadbase. the new track to my new joint which is higher now as well.

More fun with the acco

The tree with the dirt around it is the beginning of the roundabout in previous pic a few years ago. I had sprayed the acco not long before. scraped the topsoil and building up above flood level with the dam clay.

Making the new neighbours road as per above pics on the left. the temporary track is now my driveway to the new house. Very sandy there so lots of fill used.

Built a decorative formal garden over the top of the septic tank so its easy to uncover.
