well you have my full support in removing the edit and the ability to remove posts it will hopefully make people think about what there putting up and I dont think anyone is to concerned about a spelling mistake or incorrect grama

It's not so much the grammer or spelling mistakes that the MODIFY feature is good for. A lot of times I will post something and then want to add something to THAT SAME post.
S-o-o-o, hit MODIFY feature, but if it aint there, what to do now ?

Maybe just remove the DELETE altogether, that way it all stays up on the page and you'll soon find out who's doing the crook postings. If somebody really wants it removed, then they could contact an ADMIN body, to do the job for them.

Modify is back on "Tractors and...". edit: oh, now it's back here too.

To delete my own post within the 6/12/18/24hour period (what ever it is) is alright, it gives me a 2nd chance to not be a dick.

What did surprise me however was to learn that we could delete our Topic.
That's NOT good and should definitely not be allowed.

It's a good Forum, we'll get there.
Plus of course, with a lot of thankless hard work by the Mod's and Admin crew (we do appreciate and thank you guys).

Im all for the mods to do what they feel is best.
They put in "THEIR" time for the benifit of the forum.

Unfortunately some members seem to be thin skinned and have dummy spits.
We will never all agree but im happy to listen to everyone's opinion.
This is one of the easiest forums i'm on and cant quite see what all the fuss is about.
