I had an old thread on these, but it seems to have got lost in the transition to the new forum. I will repost some of the earlier ones, with improved quality.
To start a new thread, here is a three-wheel pedicab, at a fun day at Blackburn (Melbourne, Vic.) to celebrate completion of the level-crossing removal there.
Three-wheel vehicles can be pedal, powered, fully open, part enclosed or fully enclosed (right up to Mr Bean's enemy, the Regal Reliant).
There has even been a suggestion that Melbourne's traffic congestion could be eased if more people used three-wheel tuk-tuks instead of full-size cars.

Roderick please dont post any of those ridiculous excuses for motor bikes with two wheels at the front or even worse those excuses for trikes with the vw engine in the back.

This is probably the worst looking truck ever built.

The original European Tempo followed by the Indian licence built version.

When I was a kid in Belgrave, Vic. in the 70's, there was a trio of miniature 3-wheeled rubbish trucks named Huey, Dewey, and Lewey (could be wrong on the spelling, I was 8.....)
Does anyone else remember those? It would be nice to find that one survives.

Jarrod.

Not for the first time, a transport photo brings up issues of wider Australian history. The parade predated Melbourne Moomba by 20 or so years. The topee on the policeman hints at Brisbane. The wooden blocks hint at Melbourne. Grimwade Glass started in Melbourne, but expanded interstate. I will repost this one to tramway groups to try to identify the tram system from the background.
