Vehicle Related Comedy Movies was created by Lang
This is for older blokes with an old time sense of humour.
I will try to get a collection going of ridiculous stuff featuring cars or trucks somewhere.
Starting with one of my favourites of Laurel and Hardy. Who needs snappy script when you see this stuff?
Buster Keaton did all his own stunts (and was a regular at the hospital)
Here is a selection of Mack Sennett scenes mostly featuring vehicles
This is a good selection featuring some outstanding stunt driving. I am sure a lot of stunt men were killed or injured. An interesting feature is the large car radio aerial seen on some vehicles. These would have been a huge status symbol at the time.
This has a really good look at a brand new 1928 Mack tipper with a pusher axle. First few minutes then scroll through the slapstick to the last few minutes.

Having lived through a pandemic I now understand all the painting of fat people on couches!

maybe not the same vintage but remember 'The Love Bug"?
