Hi,

I think that bringing out the safety car just because there is a tilt tray picking up a car or rolling slowly around the edge of the track has really taking the excitement out of racing. You need some dangerous mobile chicanes, like slower class cars, to bring back a few variables into races like Bathurst.

Terry, Couldn’t agree more, whilst safely cars serve a purpose, yellow flags at the accident scene worked  well and only slowed the racing at that spot.

Safety cars turn an endurance race into a series of sprint races. The real reason for safety cars is so the officials can manipulate close racing and paint trading, to attract the morons who want to see cars crash, rather than watch a sport.

So as not to hijack Grandads understanding differential post I present this to answer Swishie's question about understanding women.

As I have grown older I have come to realise pleasing everybody is impossible.
I have also learned that pissing off  everybody is easy.

Coffee spelt backwards is eeffoc. Before I had had my coffee in the morning, I don't give ee foc about anybody.

I have my shoulder to the wheel,
my nose to the grindstone,
I've put my best foot forward,
I've put my back into it,
I'm gritting my teeth,

Now I find I can't do any work in this position!
