Here's another one I told my granddaughter when she was about eleven. I might have put it up here with the others I put up a few years ago,
but too bad.
It sounds better spoken than it looks on the screen.

Wun-wun was one racehorse, Tu-tu was one too.
If Wun-wun won one race, would Tu-tu win one too?

I have my shoulder to the wheel,
my nose to the grindstone,
I've put my best foot forward,
I've put my back into it,
I'm gritting my teeth,

Now I find I can't do any work in this position!

The way I remember it from primary school:
11 was a racehorse, 22 was 12.
1111 race, 22112.

Reminds me of the Two Ronnies in a Swedish restaurant ordering breakfast. Has to be spoken each letter individually in a Swedish accent.

Diner "FUNEX?"

Waitress "S, VFX."

Din. "OK,IFX", "FUNEM?"

Waitress "S, VFM"

Din. "OK, IFMNX"

What the education world has come to.

I suspect 2025 would be, "Describe how rectangles have contributed to global warming and indicate a transgender bias. The school counselor  will be here at the end of the lesson to help those offended by the lesson favouring rectangles and not giving equal weight to triangles"

When did oblongs emerge from the closet, to identify as rectangles?

This outrageous sexism in the workshop has got to be brought to the public attention.

Unless we recognize that cross-threading is a good thing we are all screwed.
