I have my shoulder to the wheel,
my nose to the grindstone,
I've put my best foot forward,
I've put my back into it,
I'm gritting my teeth,
Now I find I can't do any work in this position!

If it looks like a duck, walks like a duck and talks like a duck
You're drunk. Ducks don't talk.

For those of you, Grandad, Eightpot, Brocky, Dima and any others who live outside Australia, "Sinney" is an uneducated persons word for Sydney (or to quote Jahn-Antonio Samaranach, head of the International Olympic Committee some years ago"Snydey") is the capital city of the State of New South Wales.
Two fencing contactors in the north of New South Wales had completed a big fence building contract on a farming property and had recieved a large payment from the property owner.
One asked the other "What are you going to do now that you have no work and plenty of money?'
The second man said "I might go and see Sinney"
First man said "Yair, Sinney is a good place to see ,what route are you planning to take.
Second man said "I had better take my Wife, she stuck with me thorough the drought last summer"

Further, for the aforementioned foreign gentlemen, a root is a coarse way of describing sexual intercourse. :whistle:For those of you, Grandad, Eightpot, Brocky, Dima and any others who live outside Australia, "Sinney" is an uneducated persons word for Sydney (or to quote Jahn-Antonio Samaranach, head of the International Olympic Committee some years ago"Snydey") is the capital city of the State of New South Wales.

To explain even further, “route”, is pronounced root.
