I'd rather have tools that I don't need, than not have the tools I do need.

Words of wisdom from Lang...
It is always cheaper and certainly faster to buy someone else's work.
Never in the field of vehicle restoration has a project come out faster, cheaper or easier than expected.

I have box full of receipts that I am not game to add up on the F350 build. Still got regular shots from SWWBO about what I spent along with what I want to spend.
Well projects never seem to end!
Cheers Steve

If you're here after what I'm here after, you'll be here after I'm gone.

I have my shoulder to the wheel,
my nose to the grindstone,
I've put my best foot forward,
I've put my back into it,
I'm gritting my teeth,
Now I find I can't do any work in this position!

Item number 1358 from the book "how to succeed in business by really trying"
When you are on your way up through a business, be nice to the people you leave behind, because you will need them when you are back on your way down again.

Be careful whose toes you tread on,on the way up, they could be connected to the backside you have to kiss on the way down.

My mum always used to say, "If you can't be good, be careful," as I was heading out the door.

An extension to that one was, if you can’t be good, be careful, if you can’t be careful, buy a pram.

People ask me, now that I am retired " how do you fill in your days?" I reply that I have taken an interest in bio-chemistry, I spend most days converting beer, wine or spirits into urine.

Growing up in Western Sydney in the fifties, sent to the butchers for”couple of pounds of mystery bags” (sausages). Had a mate who wouldn’t eat commercially made square pies, insisting on locally made round ones. Lady at the deli told him one day that they had run out of local pies but had a few square ones left. “ Not eatin them! Full of Barcoo Rot!”. Wasn’t till some time later I found that the term referred to either scurvy or sometimes even tinea.
