I CAME INTO THIS WORLD WITH NOTHING & STILL HAVE MOST OF IT.........................

I used to be a truck driver,
but i am now not a truck driver ,
on a good day i can remember
that i used to be a truck driver.

About three years ago I took my 1927 Tandem drive Morris Commercial D Type Six Wheeler, in chassis form to an Early Morris display at Dubbo NSW.
The teenaged son of the family running a hot food stall nearby asked me "Was this a truck?" I confirmed it was but later I thought I should have said No, it is a submarine but there is no ocean nearby.

I have my shoulder to the wheel,
my nose to the grindstone,
I've put my best foot forward,
I've put my back into it,
I'm gritting my teeth,

Now I find I can't do any work in this position!

I remember telling overseas guests at a Rover Moot that the submarine at Holbrook was stranded there when the tide went out!

Having lived through a pandemic I now understand all the painting of fat people on couches!
