Electric vehicles and alternate fuel sources

Lang the recycled bit of your post holds little water if we take a step back and look at the big picture, all things have a end date no matter what they are, Im sure we all can agree on that

So if we never return it to recycle it, eventually we will run out

So simple me, and believe me I am simple so I'll dumb this down to my level

If I was a farmer and had a hay shed full of hay and kept taking out of the shed and never made any hay to put back in my hay shed it would eventually be empty

If I kept on cutting hay out of the paddock and never returned any nutrients to the paddock or re-seeded eventually the paddock becomes weak in nutrients and sward of pasture and the hay production declines to a level it isnt worth trying to cut hay

So the way I see it recycling is similar, if you never return worn out thinbymabobs to be made into new thinbymabobs the thinbymabobs are gunna run out and we would end with worn out thinbymabobs stacked up 100 feet deep

And as far as coal fired power stations shutting there are two main reasons, these are driven by dollars and cents

In some cases the coal has got to far away to compete, in others they just cant see the market out into future to keep on investing in rebuilding the power stations so it's more cost effective to shut them

Thats a real dollars and cents thing, coal and gas just cant compete with renewables, coal has huge crews of workers just maintaining the plant and constantly rebuilding the plant

Renewables dont have any huge crew doing any rebuiling as the are mostly solid state so have very few moving parts

The parts that do move are in clean air tight parts of plant so rarely wear out

Anyway thats just what I know

But those plants dont reycle it into coal to burn again, I must correct myself here, the trees will eventually in millions and millions of years but until then the trees dont recycle as such

The parts of the coal fired power stations that can be recycled are and just like with solar panels, once the basic part of the separation is completed it heads back to China to be made into goodness knows what to be sent back here

Well I reckon I have shared some info on this car before, it only would need charging in Australia every 6 months



Valmet that they talk about make farm tractors that are sold in Australia, I think the tractors are a pretty handy bit of gear and have never heard a bad word about them so who knows we be toodling about in solar charged electric cars one day

then i will be in a position to provide some type of comment .............
