We always record the Dakar each year and once again there is a section for hybrids, electrics and hydrogen. Electric cars have been very quick and so far this year have not snapped the rear wish bones off them. Electric bikes have a way to go as does the electric truck. The hydrogen truck and car seem to be runn ing well buut not good enought to win any awards other than they might finish.

Read in big rigs a month or so ago that someone was going to trial 6 electrickery trucks. Think it was a waste disposal mob

I have my shoulder to the wheel,
my nose to the grindstone,
I've put my best foot forward,
I've put my back into it,
I'm gritting my teeth,
Now I find I can't do any work in this position!

Good luck to them with this, I suppose if they are into waste disposal, they will not be running interstate or away from the city. At least they are in the right business to get rid of them, and I bet they do it quietly.

Our local garbage trucks are Hybrid Dennis models.
With all the stopping and starting they do a Hybrid would make sense.
Still wake me up when they do their run.
