I make no comment other than this appeared in every newspaper but has been left to quietly go away. This from Sydney Morning Herald.
Today it has been revealed that Labor’s ‘renewables only’ plan will cost Australians at least $642 billion. This is five times more than they told the Australian people.
This analysis of Labor’s plan for the National Electricity Market accounts for utility-scale generation, storage and transmission.
It was undertaken by Frontier Economics, who are renowned independent energy experts regularly engaged by governments, including Labor governments.

No government department is ever gunna know as they aren't doing the work or building the solar or wind farms or transmission lines
None of these jokers have any idea of what these companies are
Has any government project ever ran on time or on budget
So five times more is probably a big understatment
Probably more like 10 times more
Paul

I have my shoulder to the wheel,
my nose to the grindstone,
I've put my best foot forward,
I've put my back into it,
I'm gritting my teeth,
Now I find I can't do any work in this position!

My sisters came 5000 kilometres to see me for my birthday recently and one of them, who had been a mad Holden nut for many years told me about her Haval hybrid she bought eighteen months ago because there are no more Holdens.
She has had the Haval for eighteen months and has had a new battery under warrantee and now has to charge the battery if she has not used the car for a few days. I do not know if she had to buy the charger or if it was supplied by the dealer. All is OK, though because the car is a lovely shade of red.
I will not be buying one.

Not to mention the angst in Germany over failed EV production and an (ex) chairman of VW saying all production would be moving to China .....100,000VW workers on strike .......maybe they need Jeremy Clarkson to negotiate

Don't forget that VW had a hidden program in their vehicles to read wrong data to the pollution mob in the USA. They handle the truth carelessly at times
