Heh, I posted that more as an amusement - I don’t think it is plausible as such.
The closest to remote wireless directed high intensity power would be lasers, and they are line of sight unless redirected by a ‘mirror’ ...Less powerful, is the sun obviously.

One of My Daughters has a "Wireless" Iphone/Ipad/Ipod Charger gadget... Seems to work just Fine...........

The bike might have been more successful if the helmet laws were abolished .....no one will wear anyone elses helmet ,and certainly not one pigeons have crapped in.The bikes here were part of a gimme for a French company to get advertizing space on public transport infrastructue ,and had all the hallmarks of more council corruption.

Yer get about 9 minutes in and there is the main reason why battery cars haven’t been all that viable as daily drivers till now.
Computer tech makes yer battery sing...
.

Since oil is a negative price,does this mean the service station will be paying me to fill up?....Seems pretty difficult for lekky cars to match this.

Without the cut n paste codswallop from some unnamed BBQ eating Canadian electrical expert...
Electric cars charged by a diesel gen set still get better fuel mileage than equivalent diesel vehicles.
This is a stop gap that will allow charging infrastructure to catch up with EV uptake.
