Another one of getting it done. Takes me back to when I worked there.

You have to hand it to them, they do get the job done in their own way. Cleaning up parts must have been an optional cost before assembly but I think I saw a great set of "U" bolts for PDU. Also noticed the great chunk out of the outside rear tyre which is obviously still usuable. It is an eye opener as to how they achieve the final outcome and that is a good repair.

I have seen that video before
A lot of people would make fun of them and their ways, I feel in Australia years ago this type of thing was pretty normal but I dont that for sure, we may of been a bit rougher

I think it's pretty smart and really probably isn't that far from been as good as any other repairer and will no doubt last for ever and give a good service life

Thinking more about that last video on the diff repair just now reminded me of a show the ABC tv years back, 'Bush Mechanics'.
IT was based on a bunch of locals in outback Oz and the cars they drove and the amazing ideas they came up with to keep the thing moving. Non of them legal but that never bothered them. Even used a long heavy sapling once to lift up the car with a wheel missing. If the show came on today there would be hell to pay but it would be a high rater for the tv station if they could take the flack.

You work with what you have and get it done.
Cobba, there is a similar set of videos on FB at the moment with the lads sorting out all sorts of problems.

I've been blessed with NO FaceAche account so it will be one of those things I will miss. They are probably all on YouTube if I looked.
