Oh, that.
All cars are fitted with dummy ones these days. They must be dummies, or maybe you have to get out and top up the indicator fluid after each use, because they don't get used much these days!

Don't know about where you live, but in my suburb all European SUV's are exempt from using indicators, are entitled to add 30% on to the posted speed limit, have right of way over pedestrians on pedestrian crossings and get an extra 5 secs after a traffic light goes red before they have to stop.

same applies to Melbourne and the tourists (terrorists?) we see on the border

Don't forget they try to get as close to your rear end when you are stopped at traffic lights.

There appears to be a newish competition on our roads. The aim is to cut in as close as you can without ripping the front bumper off the vehicle you have overtaken. I have not been able to find any details of the competition nor what the prize is. Maybe I have got it wrong and you have to take the other person's bumper somewhere to claim your prize? Possibly the first prize is a brain?
