We had our 2nd AZ jab 2 days ago and nil side effects. We have been caught up in the Sydney area lockdown for over 6 weeks and have only left home for food shopping and the jab.

I had my 2nd shot on Tuesday and haven't received any confirmation from Service NSW that I have done so.

Pretty hard to prove you've had the shots when the Govt. fails to do is part.

I'm supposed to do an escort to SA and back but can't go without confirmation.

I was wondering about that too....Do I get a certificate?...or maybe one of the crossword puzzle things on my phone........the Qld govt has been pretty cagey about mentioning what fully vaccinated people can do ...seems to be a political issue with the idiots always screeching on telly.

In WA we were given an A4 sheet with a record of first jab and appointment date and time for no2. Back with paper for that one and recorded.
We have original record, medical centre kept a copy.

you need to have a MyGov account to view the certificates that you have had any or oth of your vaccinations. We have one that shows our flu shot and another confirming both AZ shots. Not sure if it turns up on the RMS site, I haven't looked.

Everybody should as a matter of priority get their records on the national health data base. You can do this on line or next time you visit your doctor.

Quite apart from having all your immunization records if you need a heart transplant in birdsville the surgeon can see straight away that your regular doctor has been treating you for something that might be vital information for your survival.

Great advice Lang, I proved it several years ago in Ireland when I had to have a change of medication. The chemist in Tipperary was able to check my health records via a doctor to ensure that the new stuff was ok to take.

It certainly is a great idea Lang but our GP practise does not and will not upload the patient info to that database. Their excuse is they wont share it as they bulk bill and dont get paid to do so.
Our problem is that the doctor we see is a real gem and a rarity in that he does care about you and your health and is right up there with the knowlede bank and latest treatments.
