Swishy Don't worry, in less than ten years everyone who has not had the vaccine will be dead of Covid19

Then possibly, as I am told the Bible says, The meek will inherit the earth.
I have my shoulder to the wheel,
my nose to the grindstone,
I've put my best foot forward,
I've put my back into it,
I'm gritting my teeth,

Now I find I can't do any work in this position!

The govt has obviously caved in to all the indians whining and its just a matter of time before there is a major outbreak of the indian strain of the virus here ......then there will be a real rush to get vaccinated................so far my only side effect is I cant get motivated to go back and finish cutting up the Kaiser chassis ......not a truck but a nightmare.

Morris, in your comment "Then possibly, as I am told the Bible says, The meek will inherit the earth." you left out the next line,
"If that's alright with everyone else"
If they don't allow the Indian back here who will be driving all the B Doubles up and down the highway?

I had my first shot today.

I had to wait until after my latest Blood Donation (Plasma really) so it didn't impede my next donation.

Swishy

The testing for a new vaccine would be considered very conclusive if it involved 6000 human recipients and was monitored by the health authority of one or two major countries. Many vaccines for more unusual diseases are released with far fewer human tests.

Covid vaccines have not been tested on only 6000 people but is getting up to 500 million. Not only that but they are being monitored like nothing ever seen before by the health authorities in every country on earth who are reporting daily.

There is no excuse.

I recon that Swishy is smarter and less self centred than he is making out and has had his first shot and now is just taking a shot at the rest of us, particularly knowing he lives in Melbourne.

The cook tells me most side effects are over within 72 hours. Cath is a nurse/practitioner and is currently working dealing with A -Z side effects. She knows her shit when it comes to vaccinations.

Cobbadog, The line you say I missed "if that's alright with everyone else" is definitely NOT in the Bible. I actually did read the bible once, when I was in my teens. That line is just a silly excuse for a joke, similar to those said to be from Confucius who died several hundred years ago, supposedly speaking about aeroplanes.
