Cobbadog Yes maybe it was a line missed out of only the one copy I read.

Wow, what is that flying over my house? I think it is a pig!
I have my shoulder to the wheel,
my nose to the grindstone,
I've put my best foot forward,
I've put my back into it,
I'm gritting my teeth,

Now I find I can't do any work in this position!

29 hours in and my toes haven't fallen off (sorry Swishy) and no side effects I can detect.

Of course if any important bits fall off in bed tonight it may make Helen happy!

I beg to differ; it's affected your spelling :P

I had my annual Flu 'shot' yesterday and as usual, it has caused a lump that is still very tender after 24 hours. This is much worse than the reaction to my first Astra Zenica Covid 19 shot a few weeks ago. Roll on 6th of July when I get my second shot. I would have preferred the Pfizer vaccine but it was not available to GP's. Only the Government could do something like that!

A month or so ago, I was speaking to a friend who, since he retired, has been a Director of a large Aged Care Home. I told him that I had noticed that nobody had been reported as having died from the Flu in 2020. I believe they are all lumped in with the Covid 19 statistics.

He said that because of the Melbourne lockdown, with virtually no visitors at all, the Aged Care Facility he was involved with had had NO cases at all of Flu in 2020 whereas in most years they have at least 60 residents infected, with up to 30 deaths from Flu.

Since the virus hit,I havent seen one person coughing and spluttering while out....very early on,maybe March last year ,there was a couple of young kids coughing their heads off in the supermarket....the mother was told to take them outside by several dozen shoppers.....And that would be the last time Ive seen anyone cough in public.

And that just might be from the way more people wash their hands and more thoroughly.
I too go the aged care facilities with work and must produce my flue shot certificate to prove it has been done or no entry. Flu shot later this week and then a few more weeks before we get our 2nd distemper shot AZ.
