Always wondered why that tool was called a shifter. Now i know. You can use it to "Shift a trailer " with that style of hitch.

If the blue drawbar is an indication of the quality of the whole job, the shifter is probably the strongest part.

Regarding the little red car. that caster wheel is probably all that prevents the inflatable boat from tipping the car up!

I've put my back into it,
I'm gritting my teeth,

Now I find I can't do any work in this position!

Hi,

the extension bar on the red car with the boat is not for road use and is something you buy for use on the boat ramp so you can launch your boat without getting your tyres located on the slimy green stuff you find on the water line of many boat ramps or filling up the boot with water trying to get down a shallow ramp. The alternate version is the draw bar on the trailer extends.

Look at this. Snowy's Camping have them for sale in Australia. Bucket is a great idea to save ricochets onto your boots.
