Ha Ha, I am near Phillip Island, two bays away from the Otways but probably only about 100 kilometres as the crow flies. Will have been in this area for twenty years at beginning of March. Once, when I lived less than a kilometre from the sea, it snowed and it was so rare that pictures made front page of the local newspapers, with the caption "First time ever." We had German people staying with us and they took pictures of "snow in sunny Australia" to send home to family. Morris.
I have my shoulder to the wheel,
my nose to the grindstone,
I've put my best foot forward,
I've put my back into it,
I'm gritting my teeth,
Now I find I can't do any work in this position!

MrsMackPaul I didn't know it snowed in the Otways. That's a bit close to home for me. No wonder you moved to FNQ
Depends what side of the ridge your on, the climate on the coastal side is very different than the inland side, different trees and everything
Coastal side in the higher country snows nearly every winter

As younger fella I was working in around the Burnett Wide Bay area of QLD and was working at Mount Perry, there was photos in the home stead of snow at Mount Perry
It is amazing at spots snow does actually fall in Australia
