The one hundred and fifteenth day of the war of liberation of the Ukrainian people against the russian fascists. In the city of Mariupol, which is now under occupation by the rascists, the water supply and sewage systems have still not been repaired. Imagine that for their needs, people are forced to draw water from puddles. This leads to cholera, with 10-15 cases per day. There is nowhere to treat people, because the russian occupants have taken all the medical equipment and medicines out of the city's ruined hospitals. People sign up for drinking water two days in advance for delivery, in addition people have to work off the water, mostly clearing rubble. Can you imagine slavery in central Europe, working for water. Such a "russian world" came to the people of Mariupol. Fierce battles continue in eastern Ukraine, the rascists are shelling peaceful Ukrainians with all kinds of weapons, in particular several missiles were fired from a russian airplane into a residential area of the city of Nikolaev. Again, in a residential area where there are no military or important infrastructure facilities. The shelling took place at 7 a.m. in order to kill more civilians. This is genocide. But we should note the positive fact that our military has mastered foreign weapons, in particular the French Caesar howitzers, and is showing very good results in destroying the russian fascists.

One hundred and sixteenth day of the liberation war of the Ukrainian people against the russian terrorists! At the economic forum held in russia, the russians invited representatives of the Taliban movement, which is recognized as a terrorist organization in many countries around the world, including russia itself. Thus, one terrorist country invited its friends of terrorism to visit, probably to exchange experiences. Probably the next guests of russian terrorists will be representatives of Al-Qaeda and ISIS, and all who support russia, soon will be in the list of sponsors of terrorism!
NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg finally woke up, in an interview with a German newspaper he said that it was necessary to change the NATO strategy, in which russia was seen as a partner of the bloc. Now Jens Stoltenberg has said that russia should be seen as a threat to NATO countries! It took him almost 120 days to understand the obvious fact, but the main thing is that he understood it! Thanks to some weapons from our friends, the Ukrainian army is going on the offensive in some parts of the front! Towards the cities of Kherson and Melitopol our troops have advanced ten kilometers. If we had been handed planes, the offensive would have been much more active.

One hundred and seventeenth day of the war of the Ukrainian people against the Russian occupiers. This Ukrainian soldier was not aware of the existence of the Australian Bruce, and Bruce is not familiar with this soldier. I am very glad that I became a mediator in this correspondence acquaintance of two people from different continents! But what brought these people together in a world of seven billion? The answer is simple freedom and justice! The Ukrainian soldier is defending freedom and the Australian Bruce, who financially supported the Ukrainian hero, knows exactly what is fair! Every kind of support - military, financial, humanitarian and informational - is important to Ukraine today! Working in humanitarian aid and volunteering, I see that in the last two months, the flow of humanitarian and financial aid from our friends has decreased dramatically. Domestic problems in many countries around the world, accompanied by rising fuel and food prices, are making the war in Ukraine a secondary issue. In addition, many Europeans have calmed down from the shock and threats from russia and feel safer. And the fact that Ukrainians die every day not only for the freedom of their country, but also for democratic values and freedom from tyranny all over the world does not bother many ordinary people anymore. Because the supply of arms from our friends is not happening fast enough, the war is dragging on indefinitely. And if financial and humanitarian support from our friends diminishes, the Ukrainians will face hard times! We are not discouraged and we are realists, but it would be good to know that our friends will support the Ukrainians until the complete victory over the Russian occupants!

War fatigue is something that must be faced. Even in WW2 when every country was fighting to the finish soldiers came home on leave to find their own civilians complain how easy soldiers had it and how hard their life was because they could not get all the butter they needed to cook cakes.

Right now there are thousands dying each day in about 20 wars all over the planet. the Indian Army has been losing around 50 men each day for the last 30 years and probably the Pakistani's likewise many in a dispute that nobody but them cares about in Kashmir. In most of these wars in Africa. Middle East, Asia and South America one side or both believe they are fighting for freedom.

I do not know the answer to keep world attention on Ukraine but as you say it will become harder each day as people see how much support is costing them both financially and socially. There is a limit to which people will go before they start pushing back. All you can hope for is the proximity of the fighting to Western Europe keeps their attention focused. Many see very little threat because for 80 years Russia has been on their doorstep and attacking other countries (Hungary, Czechoslovakia, Georgia, Chechnya etc etc) but always kept it inside their 'sphere of influence" behind what used to be the Iron Curtain and continued since the breakup of USSR. For most people Ukraine comes under this category.

What is making it worse is the poor performance of the Russian military and the probably true belief they are in no position to even annoy NATO let alone stage a successful invasion of Western Europe without resort to nuclear weapons. If that happens it is a whole new game and Ukraine will not even come into the picture.

All we can do is our best to keep reminding people, calling for support and trying to stop any Western country backing away because of the cost. Everybody is with you, we just have to keep saying nothing has changed, the Ukraine cause is right and must be supported to the end despite the high cost.

On a more positive note last week a Ukraine plane collected 2 Australian armoured personell carriers out of half a dozen waiting. The fleet of Bushmaters (40?) have now been prepared and also waiting for delivery.

For the last few days the fiercest fighting has been taking place in the towns of Severodonetsk and Lysychansk. The russian barbarians are using all kinds of weapons, from tank shelling to aerial bombardment. Practically, Ukrainian settlements are being wiped off the face of the earth! But the Ukrainian soldiers defend themselves masterfully and show the highest courage and heroism! The russian barbarians are repulsed with dignity and suffer great losses. In order to divert attention, the russian barbarians fire Iskander missiles from russian territory at the city of Kharkiv. Unfortunately, the main results of such shelling are the deaths of Ukrainian civilians, including children. But payback will come to the russians, and not a single Ukrainian doubts it!

You know, the longer the war goes on, the more I have doubts about whether the powerful politicians really want it to end in the short term. We don't know very much about the agreements that have been and are being made at the highest levels. But the certainty that if our army could get the right armaments from our partners sooner and the war would be coming to an end does not leave me!
