Today an appeal by the Ukrainian military command about the fate of the Heroes from the Azovstal plant appeared! To be honest, I have a mixed impression. So much time has passed since our Heroes were captured and nothing has changed. All this time, russian fascists mock our heroes, torture and kill them! Here is the full text of our command's appeal, try to draw conclusions yourself whether the decision to surrender our Heroes was the right one.
"Joint statement of the security and defence forces regarding the captured defenders of Mariupol
An operation to rescue 2,500 Mariupol defenders was the only possible option to keep our Heroes alive. There was no alternative to "extraction", there was a choice: a rescue operation or death at Azovstal, above all the seriously wounded. And the stock of necessary medicine was running out.
It was the seriously wounded who we managed to save first during the exchange in June: 144 people, of whom 95 were defenders of Mariupol, had already been returned. Most of them were seriously wounded. By now, they have received the necessary medical care and rehabilitation.
All state institutions are working to bring back the Mariupol Heroes and all Ukrainians held captive by the enemy. The Coordinating Staff for the Treatment of Prisoners of War continues to work 24/7 to release Ukrainian Defenders and Protectors from captivity and to search for those missing in special circumstances.
At the same time, we maintain contact with the families of captive servicemen and fulfil our obligations for their social protection.
Meanwhile, the russian federation does not adhere to commitments, disregards agreements and does not recognise international norms and rules of warfare. Given this, the issue of prisoner exchange is complex and sensitive.
For its part, Ukraine is constantly intensifying public communication with our partners, appealing to international organizations and world leaders, drawing the world's attention to the actions that the enemy is doing to Ukrainian military personnel who are being held captive.
We call on the entire civilized world not to allow the announced executioner's trial in Mariupol of Ukrainian defenders and protectors.
We demand that representatives of the United Nations and the International Committee of the Red Cross be sent immediately to the places where Ukrainian prisoners of war are held, first of all to Olenivka.
Let me remind you, Olenevka, is the place of detention of our Heroes, which was blown up by russian fascists!

On the one hand the Europeans are talking about the loss of profit and on the other about the fact that not all russian citizens are to blame for the war. One could think about these arguments, but when in interviews russian citizens of almost all age categories proudly talk about the greatness of russia, openly support the war and rejoice in the killing of Ukrainians, all arguments should fall away. When it comes to the isolation of russia, we have the support of several European countries who understand the meaning of everything that is going on. When will all people finally understand that the complete isolation of russia from the world is half of the victory over fascism, and the other half will be done by our army and the ukrainian people. When will people realize that the faster the Ukrainians defeat the russian barbarians, the faster life will stabilize, and first of all in Europe! As long as politicians flirt with putler, Ukrainians will die, food and fuel prices will go up and life will become more expensive. It is necessary to isolate russia from civilization quickly, otherwise the weak decisions of politicians will give putler the strength to carry out bloody terror all over the world.
