Cheap Tarpaulins was created by Lang
Some discussion on the McGrath Trailer thread about protecting wood trays left outside.

For 20 years I have been using these tarpaulins with great results.

Most signwriters have piles of them. Advertising signs which are written on A1 quality heavy tarp material. Many have rope edging and al have reinforced eyelets. You can get up to huge cap-tarp size.

They are full UV protected and I have a couple that have been outside for 10 years and still going strong but getting a bit stiff. Cheap enough to cut to size. Only drawback is one side will have "Vote for Fred Smith" or "OAK Chocolate Milk" but the other will be clean white.

The property we purchased last year had 2 curtainer walls on the carport to keep the weather out.

One was a McDonalds ad and the other a Nissan Juke ad.

Funny thing is I loathe Maccas.

The carport has been replaced with a shed.

I think the trade name is Herculite.
Comes in various thickness/weave thickness etc but as the name suggests, it’s tough.
We used it on the boat for awnings, no problem from UV.

You blokes are missing the point. You have to buy Maccas just so you can be like the rest of the world and throw all the wrapping out the window as you drive along helping to beautify the landscape.

HI,

I very rarely buy Maccas, only when I am desperate, but I like to think of it as something I have to do from time to time to remind myself why I don't buy Maccas. Except the Hotcakes, they are pretty good. :)

I can't stand the stuff from the chain I call McGreasies" either. I don't know how they can take great meat and other products and turn it into slushy, oversweet rubbish.

A few years ago, an American visitor asked me "Where is the McDonalds? " I told him "There is no McDonalds anywhere near here" He said "What are we going to do? I told him "while you are here, you will have to eat real food."

Morris.

I have my shoulder to the wheel,
my nose to the grindstone,
I've put my best foot forward,
I've put my back into it,
I'm gritting my teeth,

Now I find I can't do any work in this position!
