Why did my post change font?
Or is it just on my iPad?

Thank you for that, now just need to work out what happened to my reply to PDU in the Bedford thread……I’m wondering what I did there….

All good replies
I just remember when no matter what I would search the forum always came up trumps
Not to matter we can just poke along
Im not doing a huge amount of anything except house reno's and shifting stuff now and again
I have no complaints at all, I just worry if we aren't careful it might all go away
Off on a trip to Canada in 7 or 8 weeks time, and a quick jaunt to NewYork
Was planning a lot lot longer ocer there but something came up a couple of days ago that thru a spanner in the works
Must get back onto that McGrath tipping trailer soon
A good example of the difference between Facelessbook and a forum
A bloke on Facelessbook had a very modified McGrath trailer he wanted to sell
He asked what's it worth, I suggested 5 grand as it's missing most of the McGrath stuff that really make it a McGrath like the axles and lights and so on
Well that started a bun fight
So I never posted on there again
And I reckon I have some idea what they are worth because I probably own more in varius states of repair than any other person
Anyway I'm off topic
I was wondering if some setting might be not right with the latest forum upgrades

My 20c worth. I've been on this forum for a long time, check in daily and I always enjoy my time here. I'm also on FB and the thing I've noticed is the smaller groups that cater to a specific vehicle IE 1934-1937 C1 International. If someone is having a mechanical problem or trying to source parts the other members have had the same issues and can offer up advice, not all of the advice is good, but we usually find out what we need to know. I find the HCVC forum is more of a broad knowledge platform where we chat, learn something, get to know the members, enjoy others projects, get a look in their sheds and sometimes we pass on hard won experience.

One thing for sure about forums than Facelessbook is the fact you can search things
Swishman mentioned this
Well unusual benefit has happened
Samsung galaxy phones of late have been deleting people's photos
I know of two other people, one in the U.S. and a good mate in Australia that have had this happen
Thousands of photos gone
Yes I should store them, yes put them in the cloud
But better still print them out as, I know, actual photos
Anyway my trip NZ photos all gone
But thanks to forums like this I have found a huge amount of them again
SO HAPPY
heres some to remind you all

WTF they stole our pics? Glad you have found some of them at least. I started to back mine up on the Cloud thing but took no time to fill that up and I wont pay to store them for more space so now I use an external hard drive, a terabite and it too is filling fast. After that I will get some large thumb drive thingies and go that way.
There is a place on the phone to contact Samsung and I would and aske them what is going on. Fortunately, as soon as I get back from a trip or an outing I at least copy them to the hard drive and then in a fit of madnes delete some after a while and I ave finshed bragging about them to friends and faceache

Cobba I reckon the important lesson is to get them turned into actual photos
I feel I have mentioned it before on here, it wasn't that long ago (in my mind anyway) that we could store stuff on floppy discs, or before that cassette tapes
And CD's and so on
But how would you go getting a image stored on the floppy disc printed or developed these days
Say a home movie on Beta video
So the cloud or the stick is fine providing we can get access to those latter
Anyway, I was as happy as a dog with two tails last night finding some of the images on here
