Yes, it is from this club.
I am not sure what date you should choose as the start of the club although we celebrated our fiftieth anniversary not so long ago. The club as it is now, started with a breakup of the Historic Fire Engine Club in about 1985. I have been a member since then.

I have my shoulder to the wheel,
    my nose to the grindstone,
I've put my best foot forward,
I've put my back into it,
    I'm gritting my teeth,

Now I find I can't do any work in this position!

Im not sure were I got 1973 as the start date
This was my Grandfathers, everyone was cleaning stuff out over the years and Mum said to me the other day (mothers day) that she thought I might like it

Now I never really new that Pa was part of the club, but it appears he might of been

    I still dunno we're I got 1973, one ball's up after another

Here's my Pa, gotta listen to my crappy voice sorry
If you've seen it before you now get to see it again

    Hi,

my understanding is you get a rally badge in the  goodies bag if you had a vehicle on display but you could also buy them separately on the day or in later years when the club was getting rid of old stock.

Doesn't necessarily mean Pa was a member of the club, just that he probably attended the show in 1990.

Terry I was thinking it was something along those lines of him having a vehicle at the show but I will never know now as he is a long time gone now

No matter, I thought it was just kinda special that he had this and I guess most things like this would just get chucked in the bin by a family member as I feel Pa popped his clogs in maybe 93 or 94

    MrsMackPaul,
There is nothing wrong with your voice. I watch all of your videos I can find because you appear to be able to do all sorts of things that I am too scared to try.

The Annual badges have always been for sale to anybody, not just to members, at Annual Display Days. We are not allowed to call them a rally because insurance companies think a rally involves racing.
