So, it boils down to this question - can we get paper copies without signing up for all the digital stuff or do we pay $16.50 per issue posted and get the rest thrown in? There is no mention at all of paper versions on their web site.

Deb spoke to Jarrah publishing this morning, all is good they had issues. July-august didn't happen due to major issues with getting it published, there will be an extra edition at the end of the year to compensate for the missed one, the current edition is in the mail. They are not going all online, we will continue to get paper copies if you wish.
thank you for this information
It is kinda strange, I really do enjoy a magazine and this and the Mack truck forum
But I don't enjoy reading books or magazines in the electronic form

From the Tomm web site they say you get a pdf every month of publication (six per year) but only FOUR print issues per year and that the 'bonus' print version can be cancelled by them at any time without notice and without refunds. Also, which puts a burr under my saddle, is that they force you to consent to recurring payments being taken from your bank.
I have now ordered back issue 234 @ $15 post paid, and I get a message to say thanks and here is a link to pdf of latest issue - at 23 mb. Actually pdf of the print copy I had ordered and not the latest issue.

I have my shoulder to the wheel,
my nose to the grindstone,
I've put my best foot forward,
I've put my back into it,
I'm gritting my teeth,
Now I find I can't do any work in this position!

Please do not close down this forum. I read it every morning as I drink my two mugs of coffee. I sometimes reply as well.

I'd rather have tools that I don't need, than not have the tools I do need.

What they said, ten times over. I visit every morning, again every night and most days, in between.
