Interestin thing on fbook ......the big Ford v8s fitted to new F150s,250s and such have a front damper located by a dowell pin.....when the pin shears ,the damper turns out of position ....and the crankshaft breaks !

I ended up wetting them in the end. To begin with I didn’t think a quick tack was going to affect it. No issues once wet.

Not much fun when you burn a few acres out…… Would have had the heart pounding.
