The second one,small CJ looks like a Ford Prefect motor .............there is no water pump and the water would boil using 200A for long periods......Ive seen one of the army ones with a Standard Ten motor ,but all the rest were Fords............Ive got one I put a WW2 Petter Universal 2cyl air cooled motor on ......looks cool ,as they say ,but not enough power for the full 200A arc

This film shot by Frank Hurley ( the famous Antarctic explorer ) shows a CJ welder in Syria in 1941 with an Australian army workshop.

All the trucks etc are English.....the CJ is only bit of Australian equipment there.
