We all wish you well for the upcomming treatment. SO now you can at your own pace tinker with the Patrol until the New Year.

Very best wishes for your treatment and recovery Lang.
Over the years had excellent service from Nissan Patrols. Y60, 4 MQ diesels, GQ diesel and GU 4.2 TD. In total cost less for maintenance, service and repairs than one 2006 100 series diesel Landcruiser. Motor good but suspension and driveline let it down.

Our Club use to attend this wonderful venue each year. Lots of things to see n do with like minded people. Then it was put up for sale. 2 things happened here. The Wauchope Timber town Club were not involved with the dealings of the sale as they technically were residents onsite. The buyer thought he was buying everything on the inside of the boundary fence n that was not the case nor was it specified by the Seller, the local Council. Once the contracts were exchanged is when it went pear shaped with the Wauchope Club wanting to get their gear out but the new owner claimed it was now all his.
Once that shit fight was settled there was a rally organised n as usual our club attended. My unfortunate luck was just as I loaded the David Brown onto Lorry he started a bad bearing rattle. But we still went up with the intention of leaving David on the back of Lorry tucked away in a corner at the end of the line. I never had a winch on Lorry then n had no way of getting David loaded if the engine seized.
Then it went pear shaped for me. David, the new owner asked why the tractor was still on the truck. I explained why n his reply was
GET THAT PIECE OF SHIT OFF MY PROPERTY.
So we did n have never returned to the venue again. So if he looses a shit load of money at his auction I for one will be very pleased. Last report on the news was that only property developers are interested n in the land value only.

Cobba, I read one report where the land (about 90 acres) is expected to make more than $10,000,000 for redevelopment into house blocks.
