Swishy,
Kittle's from Tennant Ck had a MK1 Atkinson 8 wheeler, I'm sure it was factory fitted. Then there was the factory Kenworths. Hayes from Bega had an R700 with one, but unsure if it was genuine, because rumor has it that although Mack had a model designation for V12 GM they did'nt build any, R700's that is.

Simon had a couple of COE's, MacFies had a couple, Paddy Ward had a W. John Cash had a W on logs, I dont know if he was the original owner, it ran at the truck drags, there was also a W921 with V12 at some of those meetings, it was in Bell's colours. Then theres Langfords. The Cash truck became the Overends truck.

Gr8 info guyz
Early 70's we were getn desperate for power to drag floats upto 120ton gross mainly in n around Melbourne
but the increase in length of a V-12 beast put a damper on the idea
but the introduction of the KW SAR V8-92T @ 430hp saved the day
(ideal truck would B to have a 1000HP of retardation to hold heavy loads on hills n save the brakes)
LOL
WellHungVic
GuddayM8
interestin KW/concorde
them slope back front mudguards suggest it came from Cananda
Do U kno where n when the beast came from?
Thanx in advance

Hi Swishy
I know she was a 1973 model, assembled in NZ but I'm not sure whether she was Canadian or not. I'll try to find out and let you know personally when I come to see you next month

Cheers, Vic

What about the Quarry Industries W Model? Murray Langford has it now but Silver City
had it at Broken Hill for a while in between.
(Oh yeah,see that's already had a mention..........)
Vic, wasn't "Concord" one of a pair?Lambert owned them both new.
Next question......what about some pics?
I can scare up some of Kittles,QI and Simons when(if) I get home.
Anyone else? eh,eh !
