Steel manufacturing was created by Andy Wright
Went to a Melbourne Mining Club dinner last night and one of the featured speakers was from a company with ferro and gold interests. They're into vanadium which is used in the steel manufacturing process as a hardener if I remember correctly. The speaker put up an interesting graph that showed that China uses substantially less vanadium in its steel when compared to other steel producers like the US etc.
Makes you wonder about the quality of all of that construction and the Olympic stadiums. You'd think with the amount of crushed old trucks we're sending them, they'd have higher quality steel! LOL.
