swishy //there was one a couple of months ago in nsw (of course i lost the guys contact details .. i dont mind the old TD18s but they were severly underpowered a 690ci donk putting out 110hp~ but if i get another dozer i will be putting it to work on the old mans property(he currently has a TD15 i have to do a steering clutch in ..if i do see a decent size allis chalmers going cheap..

hey swishman ,,, those sweet machines from the snowy sale, 1 went down the hill to cooma, 1 went to brindabella valley-tumut side. 1 went to liverpool in sydney , 1 stayed at the snowy scheem museum or somtin like that , and i am sure 1 headed north to the land of xxxx beer.. LOL.. melon

There are still a few TD-24's over here. If you a serious about getting one I will keep my eyes out for you. We sold our TD-18 last year in our clearing sale to a SA collector.
There is a private collection over here of all the TD series inter crawlers including a three stack TD-35.

id love a td24..but the transport cost ~~to nsw would kill me if i get another decent size dozer i can always put my 540T perkins V8 in it (or if i get a D2 size dozer i can always use a inter 392 as the pilot motor

Ray the rusty has been up my way a few years ago, just after he finished building it.
He took it to the HMFD, the big problem was he could not drive it around the show.
