One of my moments ? Worked for mcphees driving a louie 9000 doin orange run ,and dock hand asked if he come along , yer why not . Comin into bathurst WE get an idea for a little drive around bathurst track , all goin well till we got a little carried away at the top and down through the sss and felt the 40 foot pan kick up the rear suspension ! Waiting for the point of no return or the sudden jolt of firm ground , this felt like forever but she came back to earth . All i could think of was ,WHAT YOU DOIN UP THERE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I remember hichting a ride with mates transport company anyhow we got Holbrook had some breakfast and for some reason the driver decided to check the oil.

Anyhow the driver found water in the oil after few phone calls back the company he was told get to Sydney and he tried to get it started but no go .

So this when I would be the hero and put the tow between our truck and a empty cattle truck all of a sudden the cattle truck roll back and crushed me between the rear of the and the bull bar and I can tell you I sh#t myself I thought I was going to DIE. Dave

Back when I was carting stock , I spent all day mucking around loading etc west of Dubbo . Left Dubbo about 9pm heading for Aberdeen started to get a bit tired about 40k out , missed a parking bay so decided Dunedoo would do for a couple of hours . Could see the lights of Dunedoo about 5k out and I must have relaxed a bit and next thing Im heading for the edge on a rough steep camber bit , Im bloody sure I didnt jerk the wheel but I felt the rh tri lift so steered back to the left and booted it , then it landed and the bloody left hand lifted then the motor went into free rev shit the drive has lifted , this is gunna hurt . It all came back down , I crawled into Dunedoo checked the cattle (thankfully they were fairly tight) rang the office and got the boss , told him what had happened , heard him yell out to the night shift bloke "put em all to bed " and then told me to go to bed till morning or I woke up which ever came 1st .

ive struggled a couple of times to make dunedoo another time heading up the golden highway i seen a police car (or two?) in front of a very wide load as usual they had their sexy white gloves on with their hands waving out the window to warn oncoming vehicles ..anyway stupid me being as tired as i was ... was waving back and smiling at the coppers then oops i realised what was going on. . . i virtually had to head bush to avoid the big bang theory
