a section called 'Other Old Stuff' has been added to the General Category. Depending how it pans out it may be split up into a new category with tractors etc as sub-headings in the future

HI , anyone been to the tomm site today, Not a lot of happy campers over there at the moment. They have removed any mention of links to other sites With info or photos . By the look of it ,if its not advertisted in the tomm magazine you cant help anyone by showing them links to websites. One of the guys had posted photos from the national rally and mentioned he was going to put it on DVD if anyone wanted one ,now it seems to be gone from sight.Ian.

Sounds like the power's gone to someone's head. The whole point of things such as this forum - AND TOMM - is to share knowledge and support your fellow enthusiast. Looks like it's been forgotten over there.

They have backed down a little bit,but totaly banning links to ebay and u tube , supposedly so minors cant get to see porn or such. Now they are allowing links to photo bucket and one ther site , I guess we can only wait and see what happens after the dust settles .ian.

TOMM may see eBay etc as competitors and therefore not want to promote their competition (after all you don't see Ford putting links to Holden on their website), particularly as there doesn't seem to be as many ads in TOMM as there were a few years ago. I think when people decide to get rid of something they would rather do it quickly than wait 2 months for an ad to appear.

no need to discuss coming over - anyone is welcome (unless they try to post spam-type ads such as have killed some other sites)
