Ambulances was created by Roderick Smith
We seem to have run out of material and links for hearses.
I have been stockpiling ambulances, but don't have as much.
Today's kick start: four from Sandown on Sun.18.11. Two are in a Sandown thread already.
The modern ambulance wasn't a display item: a team was working on a collapsed participant or spectator.
Is the MASH reference on the older one just for fun, or had it been used as a film prop somewhere/sometime?

Hopefully the Goldsmith coverage will get posted.
Here are two other kick starts, both of which have appeared in other threads already.
From the rear view, I can't tell the chassis under 388, an ambulance with a pun numberplate (my photo).

From 'Raggsie': 1988 F250 was a Jakab ambulance in its previous life.

Thanks for the contribution: there must be a lot more images out there in member land.
I had a wonderful url on ambulance history.
www.colacambulance.com/ambulance%201961%20-%201970.htm (a wonderful comprehensive site)
Amazing diversity of chassis.
In searching for it again, I found a lot more links:

www.ambulance.vic.gov.au/Education/Interactive-Activities.html
including a link to bicycle ambulances in Victoria
