Icecream (& other) vendor vans

Buglys mention of "Brown and Burns' triggered my memory, as I was born and raised about a mile from their bakery in Subiaco. They had a lot of those vans which used to go from house to house doing fresh bread deliveries. As a small boy me and the mates would follow the van down the road, and cadge a hot bread roll from the driver - yum.
The bakery was taken over by Tiptop and closed in about 1980 (I think)
Cheers, Neil

This one isn't wooden, so I am putting it into this thread. Part of the Kennett cuts was the closure of Ballarat railway refreshment room. This caravan became the refreshment facility for the station serving Victoria's third-largest city.

The refreshment rooms must have reopened as they were open the last time that I was in Ballarat (about 9 months ago)

Replied by Roderick Smith on topic Re: Coffee van
This was in a magazine in the coffee museum, Santos, Brazil. The ad is for a Paris operation. What would the towing vehicle be?

The earlier post has become corrupted, but I can't delete it. The photo is certainly still at flickr.

Cobdogla caravan park (SA): Mr Super Soft Ford, vending to Australia Day long-weekend crowds, with a glimpse of Humphrey Bay (an inlet off the main Murray River). Sun.25.1.15. (Roderick Smith)
IIRC it was playing 'Greensleeves', reflecting the possible ancestry.
