White Pass & Yukon is a very famous railway, surviving today as a very busy tourist operation, conveying cruise-ship passengers.

I'm placing this with camels.

181209Su Melbourne 'Herald Sun' - India, camel and a Royal Enfield motorbike (name readable on the tank).
They came in 350s and 500s. New 350cc about $6500; limited edition 500 under $9000.
royalenfield.com.au leads to most aspects, but the history link doesn't work.
royalenfield.com.au/history [which covers the start in India in 1955.
Just two of the models:

Yes Royal Enfield Wee Allis, please grab a virtual beer from your virtual fridge. :woohoo:
This is a current model motorcycle that are built in India and have been since circa 1955.

I'd rather have tools that I don't need, than not have the tools I do need.

Not sue if it is the same company, but someone there builds one with a diesel engine. There is one here locally.

Correct. Although it would have been a private import. :)

The Diesel Ones I saw when I was in India, Looked very much like an Old WLA Harley, with a Big single Cylinder Motor in 'em..

Sometimes it's easy to make yourself look stupid. Roderick often puts up photos for vehicle identification. This time he knew what the bike was and I just didn't read his caption and thought I was so clever. As my old mum used to say, "If the cakes a failure, read the recipe".
