Pair of scania's

lot of work gone into these two, hope you like them

Andy were these scania's built to a friends colour theme or customers maybe.
They are really awsome.
When you see what some sites charge for one off custom paint jobs you should be real proud, they are fantastic mate.
I like cabovers but the gumboot is the one,faultless.
Just the thing to do when you retire, make some cash doing what you like.
Also are the bug deflectors from the kits?.

nah mate, the gumboot was painted blue to start with, but I didn't like it so I stripped and primed it again, it was when I was sittin at the bench looking at the paints that I noticed the two browns sittin side by side and thought to my self, hang on a sec they look like tanami transport colors so I slashed a bit on the gumboot and was happy with how it came out
The cab over wasn't built at the same time, but a bit later on and came with all the deflectors in the kit, its a towtruck kit, if your lookin for it, the gantry for the custom intakes and stacks I scratch build, the tanks are pvc pipe alcladed, and the bulbar is scratch built.
The gumboot is one of my favourite builds to date, but in sayin that I need to pull off the middle tank on the right side and redo it >, if you remember the other day Alby I was sayin if you don't put enough Alclad the black shows through, if you look at that tank you will se what I mean
